Exclusive: Top Rank Finds New Broadcast Home with DAZN in Multi-Year Deal

In a major shift within the boxing media landscape, Top Rank has finally secured its future. According to a detailed report from The Ring, the legendary promotional outfit has agreed to a multi-year partnership with streaming giant DAZN, bringing an end to months of careful negotiation following their departure from ESPN. The deal, which is expected to be officially announced later this week, will see Top Rank stage between eight and ten events per year on the platform. Per The Ring's sources, the agreement carries license fees estimated to be in the region of $1 million to $1.25 million per event. While this represents a significant step down from the lucrative, nine-figure annual budget they enjoyed during their eight-year run with ESPN, it provides a vital new home and a consistent schedule for their stable of fighters. The Road to the Deal As revealed by The Ring, the path to this agreement has been a long one. Top Rank president Todd duBoef has been in discussions with various streaming services for over a year, dating back well before their exclusive ESPN contract concluded this past July. While talks with DANZ have been a constant, the report indicates that duBoef also explored potential partnerships with other major players, including HBO Max, before circling back to finalize terms with DAZN. The new structure will also offer Top Rank flexibility, allowing them to place their top stars on high-profile cards. We have already seen a preview of this collaboration, with Top Rank fighters like Teofimo Lopez, Keyshawn Davis, and Bruce Carrington featuring on the recent "The Ring 6" card at Madison Square Garden, which was streamed on DAZN. A Roster Ready to Roll Despite the change in scenery, Top Rank’s primary asset remains its incredibly deep and talented roster. They continue to promote some of the most exciting champions and prospects in the sport. The list of talent now set to appear on DAZN includes world champions such as WBO middleweight king Janibek Alimkhanuly, unified junior middleweight champ Xander Zayas, IBF lightweight titleholder Raymond Muratalla, and fan favorites like Emanuel Navarrete and O’Shaquie Foster. The roster also boasts a wealth of rising stars, including heavyweights Richard Torrez Jr. and Jared Anderson, as well as 2025 Ring Magazine "Prospect of the Year" Emiliano Vargas. DAZN Solidifies Its Dominance For DAZN, this acquisition is a major power play. The streaming service, owned by billionaire Len Blavatnik, already holds exclusive content agreements with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing and Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions, and has a long-standing relationship with Golden Boy. By adding Top Rank to the mix, DAZN has effectively assembled a "super-league" of promoters, further cementing its position as the world’s leading destination for live boxing. --- Image Credit: Top Rank Boxing (Editor’s Note: This article is based on information originally reported by The Ring.
