Jaron "Boots" Ennis captured the WBA and WBO super welterweight titles with a dominant seventh-round TKO victory over Xander Zayas to headline an action-packed night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The highly anticipated Top Rank and Matchroom co-promotion delivered explosive results across both the pay-per-view main card and the preliminary action.In the main event, Ennis (36-0, 32 KOs) utilized his overwhelming offensive power to floor Zayas in the first, fifth, and seventh rounds. Despite a valiant effort from Zayas, who briefly rocked Ennis in the third round, his corner ultimately called a halt to the contest at 1:49 of round seven.The co-main event featured a blistering lightweight clash where Emiliano Vargas extended his undefeated streak by defeating Bryce Mills via a fourth-round knockout at the 1:17 mark. Earlier on the main card, British light heavyweight sensation Ben Whittaker made a spectacular US debut, stopping Richard Rivera with a rapid-fire TKO just 27 seconds into the second round. To open the pay-per-view broadcast, middleweight contender Jahi Tucker eked out a hard-fought majority decision victory (95-95, 97-93, 98-92) over the previously unbeaten Euri Cedeno.The preliminary card also delivered dramatic finishes for the Brooklyn crowd. Juanmita Lopez De Jesus secured a lightning-fast first-round knockout over Alberto Matos at 2:05.
