Jayden Price: The 14‑Year‑Old Phenomenon with a Record for the Ages
At just 14 years old, most teenagers are navigating the start of high school. But for Jayden Price, a young man from Gloucester, UK, this is just another year in a career that has already seen him conquer three continents. Having turned 14 in May 2025, he now holds a boxing résumé that most fighters could only dream of—all while training out of Amin Khan’s Truth Boxing Club. To understand the hype, you have to go back to the beginning. Jayden’s journey didn’t start in a boxing ring. At the age of six, he embarked on a combat sports journey that bordered on the unbelievable. By the time he was just nine years old, he had amassed over 200 fights across Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu, MMA, and wrestling, securing the number one ranking in the UK across all three disciplines. However, after his last MMA fight—a dominant win against the number one fighter in Liverpool—Jayden found himself in a unique predicament. He had beaten everyone. With no matches left to take, the decision was made to pivot his attention to boxing, a move that would prove to be a masterstroke. Under the watchful eye of his father, Lee Price, and the technical guidance of coach Amin Khan at Truth Boxing Club in Gloucester, Jayden took the boxing scene by storm. His “Boxing IQ” was immediately off the charts. Coaches and insiders quickly labeled him a generational talent, a young man destined for the top. His trajectory seemed unstoppable. After securing his second England National title, an invitation arrived that would change his life: a chance to compete for England at the European Championships. It was a massive challenge—stepping up to face the best in Europe in an older age group—but Jayden rose to the occasion. He dominated his first two fights, winning every round 5‑0, looking levels above the competition. However, in the world of international amateur boxing, politics can often overshadow performance. Just before the team left England, they discovered Russia was funding the event. The fear was that if Jayden was matched against a Russian, the judging might not be fair. That fear became a reality. In the final, Jayden dominated his Russian opponent, landing over three times as many punches. But the decision went against him. For a young man used to victory, the gut‑wrenching loss was hard to process. Yet, as Lee Price told him, everything happens for a reason. That “bad situation” turned into an unprecedented opportunity. Prince Khalid of the Kingdom of Bahrain had seen Jayden in action. Impressed by his talent and resilience, he reached out with a package deal like nothing seen before. Jayden signed with Bahrain, and immediately flew to Jordan for the Asian Championships. Facing three tough opponents from Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan, Jayden smashed every fight 5‑0, becoming the number one boxer in Asia. Just two days later, he returned home to compete in the England National Championships, claiming his third English title with yet another 5‑0 victory. It was an incredible run, but the biggest test was yet to come: a trip to the USA. For the first time in his career—over 320 fights—Jayden stepped into the ring without his father, Lee Price, in his corner, as Lee was unable to obtain a visa. But the absence didn’t faze the young champion; it fueled him. Determined to bring the gold back to his dad, Jayden entered the USA National Championships final. Up against a top American who had prepared for months specifically for him, Jayden showcased his elite skills, winning every round 5‑0. By capturing the USA title, Jayden Price made history. At just 14 years old, he became the first amateur boxer in the world to conquer three continents (Europe, Asia, and North America) as a national champion. Now representing Team Bahrain, his official boxing record stands at an astonishing 90 wins and just 5 losses. Among those victories, he has captured an incredible collection of titles: Asian Champion, 4‑time England National Champion, 1‑time USA National Champion, and winner of the prestigious 27/27 Box Cup. He has beaten 28 national champions along the way. Now, as Jayden prepares to travel to Uzbekistan in four weeks to defend his Asian title, the legacy is already growing at home. His younger brother, Zac, is following in his footsteps—training under the same expert guidance of Amin Khan at Truth Boxing Club in Gloucester, with plenty of brotherly advice from Jayden along the way. At just six years old, Zac is already showing the makings of a very special talent. With a strong, supportive family behind them, it seems anything is possible. A special thank you goes to Sheikh Khalid and the people of Bahrain for believing in Jayden. With the support of his father Lee, his coach Amin Khan, and a global fanbase, Jayden Price isn’t just the future of boxing—he is the present. Photo credit: Jayden Price / Facebook
