Mayweather vs. Pacquiao 2: Amended Deal Confirmed for September 25 on Netflix

The wait is nearly over. More than a decade after their record-shattering first encounter, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao have now agreed to terms on an amended deal for a fully sanctioned professional rematch. The fight, which represents Mayweather's first professional bout since 2017, is planned for September 25, 2026 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and will be streamed live globally on Netflix. The confirmation comes directly from Manny Pacquiao Promotions CEO Jas Mathur, who told The Ring's Mike Coppinger that the two legends finally have a revised agreement in place. The bout was originally slated for September 19 at The Sphere, but Mathur explained the venue "didn't make economic sense" for an event of this magnitude, leading to the switch to T-Mobile Arena. For Pacquiao, now 47, this is a chance to avenge his 2015 unanimous decision loss. For the 49-year-old Mayweather, it's an opportunity to put his perfect 50-0 record on the line in a professional capacity for the first time in nine years. As Mathur emphasized to ESPN, both parties signed contracts specifically for a sanctioned professional fight, not an exhibition. Boxing fans worldwide now have a firm date to circle for the sequel that once seemed impossible. Photo Credit: The Ring Magazine
